WELCOMING THE NEW YEAR, WINGS AIR ADDED NEW ROUTES

Jakarta, November 30, 2016 - To support their network connectivity, as feeder of Lion Air Group, Wings Air do expand with the addition of several new routes, the airline that operated using aircraft type ATR 72-500 / 600 will provide several selection of new destinations which began operating in December 1, 2016 ,

Earlier in November 2016 Wings Air also has opened new route service to a number of areas, such as North Sumatra, South Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara. As for the new service in this December, Wings Air will connect several areas in Aceh, North Sumatra, West and Central Kalimantan, also South and Central Sulawesi.

Wings Air will fly daily with this following schedule,

IW 1213 MEDAN - SABANG

12:20 to 13:30

IW 1214 SABANG - MEDAN

13:55 to 15:05

IW 1572 PANGKALAN BUN - KETAPANG

09:55 to 10:50

IW 1573 KETAPANG - PANGKALAN BUN

15:30 to 16:25

IW 1545 KETAPANG - PONTIANAK

11:10 to 11:55

IW 1544 PONTIANAK - KETAPANG

14:15 to 15:10

IW 1334 UJUNG PANDANG - WANGI WANGI

12:05 to 13:30

IW 1333 WANGI WANGI – UJUNG PANDANG

13:55 to 15:20

 "The addition of this new service we hope to reinforce the commitment of Wings Air to continue to provide the community with the ease of mobility and serve diverse air transport flight options to various regions with us," said Edward Sirait, President Director of Lion Air Group.

Edward added that Wings Air network connectivity with the addition of this route will be more powerful and varied due to inter connects the city with a small airport capacity to a large city that the flight can proceed with other airline from Lion Air Group such as Lion Air and Batik Air.

"In the future, the opening of new routes and additional flight frequency will continue to be able to provide maximum service to the public in accommodating the needs of our customers. Hopefully these can be attractive and provide a positive impact in terms of economy and tourism in their respective areas, "added Edward.

Currently Wings Air operates 50 aircraft propeller type ATR 72-500/600, which serves flights to 86 destinations in Indonesia, with up to 285 flights per day.
