LION AIR READY TO FLY FROM JAKARTA TO TERNATE

Jakarta, December 6, 2016 - Lion Air opens new route again at the end of 2016. As of today, Lion Air will serve direct flights from Jakarta through Soekarno - Hatta Airport to Ternate, North Maluku through Sultan Babullah Airport and return.

This flight route will be served by the airline bearing the lion's red head once in a day with the following schedule,

JT 896 JAKARTA (Soetta) - TERNATE

3:00 to 8:50

JT 897 TERNATE - JAKARTA (Soetta)

09:30 to 11:10

Ahead of the holiday period of Christmas and the new year 2017, in addition to plans to increase the frequency of flights per day to provide extra seats about 102,000 seats, Lion Air also add these flights to be able to accommodate and provide an option to fly for the citizens of the capital city of Jakarta and surrounding areas to travel to the North Maluku.

By using Boeing 737-800 / 900 Lion Air is currently operating of 113  fleets that can accommodate about 200 passengers on each flight, Lion Air confident that this service can be attractive and useful to ease the mobility of the traveling public using air transportation.

"We will continue to be committed to the community to be able provide an optimum service, either by opening a new route that can provide new choices also to our customers to reach their destinations safely, quickly, and of course, cost-effective," said Edward Sirait , President Director of Lion Air Group.

Edward adding that the flight from Jakarta to Ternate will take about 3 hours 50 minutes, and departures from Soekarno - Hatta will be served through the departures terminal 1A which is the first flight in the day.

"Hopefully, people can be helped by this new route, and stimulate growth in the region in terms of economy, industry, and tourism," Edward closed.
